BUNNY LOVE SWAP - MINI CARDS

 I have long adored rabbits in all forms.  Truthfully I stopped collecting and covering the house in them (except for Easter and well, it is still Easter at my house this week LOL) so that I didn't become known as the "crazy bunny lady".   Was happy mail when I came home this week to find my swap (see sidebar) had arrived!

Sheryl, Linda, Kim, Charlotte, Janet and Jan - thank you each one is perfect!

All tucked into the accordion holder I made to hold these.  I will fold them up and tie with a pretty ribbon.

SOME BUNNY LOVES YOU - A MINI CARD SWAP BY TABITHA

I have had such a block about working in SMALL!  But I had so much fun doing the Vintage Children mini card swap and the theme this time is bunnies (Tabby's Place)- well I just have to give this one a whirl also.  So here is what I have done so far;   background image from The Chocolate Bunny on Etsy, the rabbit head is vintage German Scrap from Dresden Paper Crafts, the checkered paper is G45 and all are edged with Platinum Stickles..

VINTAGE CHILDREN MINI CARD SWAP

Have you visited Tabby's Swaps! yet?  Her first swap is for mini cards (1x3) featuring vintage children.  

For my first set I used images from PaperWhimsy "Beautiful Faces", a favourite at the moment!  Scans of Victoria scrap from my own collection.  The names?   It was a very popular Victorian trend to give girls "flower" names.  In fact my grandmother born in 1892 was Violet Rose.  I did the distressed embossing technique using Tea Dye Distress Ink to give that rusty old look.  A gilt edge on each for a bit of Victorian elegance.
