It's Sunday and the perfect time to share a few different images with you.

This first one is a silhouette made into a "gif" file courtesy of Heather.  This image will print out showing whatever background paper you choose to print on.  You know I am not technical at all..seems like magic to me LOL

In real life (IRL) this postcard is heavily embossed in silver and quite lovely.

My choice for the oddest Easter greeting card that I have seen, two young girls with pick axes going for the giant egg!  And why show the back end of the giant chick?  LOL

If you have been "around here" for any amount of time, you know that I offer my images basically as is with all the little nibbles and spots.  Unless my friend Heather takes over and cleans them up  LOL  For the most part I love the "experience" they have seen and feel it is part of creating something new with a true vintage feel.  The pieces I am sharing with you today are perfect for creating scenes in a spring or Easter gluebook.  All of these images are 1920 ish.  The little bits are sweet and you can cut and paste to your heart's content.  Do visit Greenpaper if you want to know more about gluebooks.

This 1911 card is a favourite of mine, I love the deep background and the duckling walking in his golden egg!   Take an Easter break from the typical pastels.

VINTAGE EASTER POSTCARDS

This lightly embossed thin paper card is from the 1880's and predates the mainstream use of postcards though it is that size.  There isn't any advertising, I am not sure if it was meant to be handed out or traded like scrap.  A sweet image typical of  it's time.  For anyone who is new to picking up images from me, they are as I have found them.  All of the wear, tear and loving handling  has been left alone.

I'm not sure that you will get a good copy of the verse but what a sweet image to use on a project!  I have a few of these to share.

This Victorian greeting card is meant to hold your own calling card inside.  Made of surprisingly sturdy chipboard.  An easy to replicate if you are inclined  :)

Maybe you will love these as much as I do.  In like new condition these are part of a treasure trove of Victorian scrap I lucked into this summer.

I adore these heavily embossed images which appear to be spray painted.  Who knows how they did that at the turn of the 19th century?
